I have TIVO.  I rarely watch TV commercials.  However, sometimes my wife is watching something that I am thoroughly not in to on the TV with the TIVO, leaving me with the other TV that lacks TIVO.

I know.  I should read a book instead and I ususally do.  Occasionally though, books aren't calling to me so I flip on the idiot box and see something like this:

Look, it's clever, funny in a way and well produced.  I get all that.  I just have one question.

WHAT THE HELL DOES IT HAVE TO DO WITH SNICKERS?

Clever in a way that promotes the unique qualities of your service?  Good.

Clever for the sake of being clever?  Waste of your advertising budget.
